Taste of Texas® delivers perfectly-aged steaks straight to your door via FedEx. The steaks are flash frozen and packaged beautifully in a reusable foam cooler with dry ice (-109 degrees Fahrenheit), a gourmet grilling guide, and our signature steak seasoning. You will receive an email and text when your order ships so you can track the progress of your shipment.

We’ve got this! We plan ahead and pack each cooler with enough dry ice to arrive in perfect condition, even if there is a delay. We’ve shipped thousands of orders over the past 17 years, and we guarantee each package. If there is any issue with an order, simply contact us at support@tasteoftexas.com.

We ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (1 Day / Overnight Perishables and Non-Perishables Only) and Fridays (Non-Perishables Only). We generally fulfill orders placed before 2 p.m. that same day.

We ship non-perishables via FedEx Ground and FedEx Express OneRate, and they typically arrive 2 to 5 business days after being shipping. FedEx delivers our packages Tuesday through Saturday - depending on the destination and chosen shipping method.

Holidays: FedEx may be closed or have a reduced shipping schedule around holidays. On these dates, your order will ship the next appropriate business day to ensure your perishables arrive perfectly.

We offer Same-Day delivery to much of Houston through our courier service, Delivered by Shipt®, for a flat rate. You will be presented with a Same Day delivery option at checkout if your delivery address qualifies. Simply select this option at checkout, and a driver will deliver your order to the Shipping Address within hours, seven days a week. Orders placed after 7 p.m. will be delivered the next day.

Please note: Couriered deliveries containing steaks are packed with fresh, not frozen steaks (so that you can grill that evening) in a complimentary reusable Taste of Texas thermal bag with icepacks to ensure freshness during transit. Shipt drivers deliver the thermal bag to the front door, so please ensure someone will be home close to delivery time to move perishables to the refrigerator.

For gifts, we recommend alerting your gift recipient to expect a courier later that day at the chosen shipping address. If you are ordering a gift to be delivered to a business address, please only choose this shipping option before or close to Noon Monday-Friday to ensure the business is open to receive it.

Prefer to pick up instead? Great! If you would like to pick up your order, please choose the pickup option at checkout. Then, simply stop by the Grill-At-Home store, located just inside the restaurant’s front door, at 10505 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024.

The Grill-At-Home store opens at 10 am during the week and noon on weekends. All of our steaks and sides are packed in complimentary thermal bags with ice packs to ensure freshness during transit
