Megan’s Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz. – Elbow Macaroni, Barilla
  • 1 ¼ Cups – Heavy Cream, 40 %
  • 1 ½ Cups – Milk
  • 2 Tsp – All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ Tsp – Salt
  • ¼ Tsp – Ground Black Pepper
  • 8 oz. – Grated Fontina Cheese
  • 8 oz. – Grated Provolone Cheese
  • 4 oz. – Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 10 Tbs. – Japanese Bread Crumbs

Instructions:

Cook the noodles in a large pot of coiling salted water until tender but still firm to a bite, stirring frequently, about 5 minutes. Drain well, but do not rinse. Place in a separate bowl and cover with foil.

Whisk the cream, milk, flour, salt, and pepper in a large bowl to blend. Stir in Fontina, Provolone, and Parmesan cheeses. Add the hot noodles and stir for 3 minutes until all cheeses are melted and all ingredients are mixed well. Transfer noodle mixture into a 12X9 prepared baking dish. Place the Japanese Bread Crumbs on top and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
