TASTE OF TEXAS SCHOOL TOURS

Come join us for a FREE Texas History tour, hosted by Nina Hendee, at the restaurant. We can accommodate 125 4th graders and chaperones for each tour day. To set up a school tour, please contact Mary Whittington by emailing: mary@tasteoftexas.com. You will be sent an informational email requesting your schol information and date preferences. Once it's received, you will then be sent a confirmation from the Taste of Texas.

We hope to see you all during the school year! After a spectacular time of learning, enjoy a great lunch with us!

Home School Groups

• May include students from 8yrs-18yrs.
• Attendees must consist of students, teachers, parents and bus drivers only.
• No one under 8, no toddlers or infants.

Who can come?
The tour is geared for 4th grade Texas History students. Parents are welcome.
We ask that no one under 8 years of age attend.

What is the cost of the school tours?
There is no charge for the tour or lunch.

Do you use Peanut Oil to cook with?
No peanut oil or peanut products are used in the restaurant except our Snickers Pie which contains Snickers candy.

What time does the tour start and how long does it last?
The tour begins at 9 am followed by lunch. The restaurant opens at 11:00 for lunch, so students must be finished and loaded on the bus by 11:00.

What is served for lunch?
Everyone is served Chicken Tenders, French Fries and a Coke.
